Between February and June 2026, Fondazione Benetton and almamusica433 association are organising the fourth season of Landscapes, a music and theatre festival under the artistic direction of Stefano Trevisi. The festival will be held in the church of San Teonisto in Treviso and will conclude with a performance at Casa Luisa e Gaetano Cozzi, a farmhouse in the countryside of Zero Branco (Treviso).
The project is a multidisciplinary workshop for reflection on natural, artistic and human landscapes, in keeping with the themes of landscape research and the study of places that have always been part of the Benetton Foundation’s life. This year, starting with the title of the season, Futuro anteriore, it stimulates reflection on the relationship between the present and the past, highlighting how the contemporary always has its roots in the ancient.
The classical and ancient musical repertoire therefore remains the primary focus of the season, with forays into the contemporary and theatrical language through the proposal of a “poetic concert” that combines music and words.
The new season will open on Saturday 21st February at 6 pm with the concert Dalla libreria di Pisendel. La collezione di un virtuoso with Claudio Rado on violin and Julio Caballero Pérez on harpsichord.
It will continue in March with Venite alla danza… a concert by laReverdie, an Italian ensemble of international renown for medieval music, which is celebrating forty years of activity with this performance.
This year, Landscapes will also feature the participation of maestro Andrea Marcon in April, who, at the helm of the Venice Baroque Orchestra and Chouchane Siranossian, violin soloist, will present a project that intertwines tradition and interpretative innovation.
May will see Roberto Prosseda‘s piano recital, Elogio della leggerezza. A journey through the pages of Mozart, Mendelssohn and Chopin, and the poetic concert, Nell’aria alta, with Vasco Mirandola, narrator; Sergio Marchesini, piano, accordion, bandoneon, electronics; Francesco Ganassin, clarinet, bass clarinet, alto saxophone; Enrico Milani, cello.
As is tradition, the season will conclude at Casa Luisa e Gaetano Cozzi in June with the concert Rêves et cabarets. Paris 1900 by a trio of young performers, the Trio Aeterna: Silvia Esposito, soprano; Sergio Mariani, flute; Gianluca Papale, piano.
