A cycle of meetings and conferences dedicated to Japan that, starting from the Manavello collection in Treviso, will open the doors to knowledge of the world of the kimono and related arts.
Each meeting will deal with a specific theme and will be divided into two moments: the presentation of some kimono examples from life, followed by one or more speeches on specific aspects related to the theme in question.
The cycle, curated by J.K. Mauro Pierconti and Lydia Manavello, will benefit from the collaboration of Silvia Vesco, Professor of History of Japanese Art at Ca’ Foscari University in Venice.
