An open discussion, involving different points of view, about the history, the current circumstances and the imaginable future of a village in sub-Saharan West Africa. The seminar will be coordinated by Domenico Luciani and will include contributions from Marco Aime, an anthropologist of the University of Genoa and a delegation of guests from the Taneka headed by Idrissou Seibou, the Mayor of Copargo.
Hervé Brunon, Luigi Latini, Tom Simons and Massimo Venturi Ferriolo will present an outline of the study trip to Benin, organized by the Foundation in December 2010.
Giovanna Antongini and Tito Spini will speak of their parallel experience of the Lobi people of Burkina Faso.
