Sunday, June 18th at 8:45pm, the garden of casa Luisa e Gaetano Cozzi in Zero Branco (Treviso) will host the now habitual “Summer fête”, a social evening to celebrate the European Music Festival as well as, this year, 450 years since the birth of Claudio Monteverdi. The popular New Landscapes trio, i.e. Silvia Rinaldi, baroque violin, Luca Chiavinato, baroque lute, Colascione lute and oud, Francesco Ganassin, bass clarinet, will give the concert Quando l’alba in Oriente… omaggio a Claudio Monteverdi (When dawn in the Orient, homage to Claudio Monteverdi). The Trio focus their research onto the expressive potential of an unusual chamber ensemble, where instruments from utterly diverse origins and traditions come to life together. The evening will be opened by Edward Szost, best graduate in lute in Italy in the 2016-2017 two-year period, who was awarded the “Nicoletta Menegaldo” scholarship, promoted by almamusica433. Admission on invitation by responsible offer.
