The second extraof the International Landscape Study Days on the theme Abandonment. The landscape and the fullness of the void offers the vision of two short films.
Corrispondenze / Corrispondences, by Marzo Zuin and Alessandro Padovani (Italy, 2022, ca 6 ‘) has been produced by the Foundation on the occasion of the study days to introduce the themes while Tracce, by Chiara Andrich (Italy, 2020, ca 6′), has been kindly made available by the author, given the consistency of the subject with the study days 2022 project, curated by Luigi Latini and Simonetta Zanon.
Correspondences. A man walks through the ruins of an abandoned factory with a clarinet in his hand. The man plays a few notes, then stops, waiting. In the silence, a sound responds to him.
Traces. The abandoned Arbatax paper mill becomes a space for a reflection on time, traces of human action take on new forms in the constant and eternal tension between man and nature.
