The missa Se la face ay pale by Du Fay

The first recording of Fondazione Benetton is released with the October issue No. 335 of the «Amadeus» magazine.

This is a new production of the missa Se la face ay pale by Guillaume Du Fay (1397-1474), recorded by the Musica in Casa Cozzi ensemble, directed by Claudia Caffagni, within the Musica antica in casa Cozzi project, which is promoted by the Foundation Benetton and almamusica433, under the artistic direction of Stefano Trevisi.

The production stems from the work of fifteen young singers and musicians from various countries in the world. Musicians with diverse experiences, from singing to the study of ancient instruments, including the medieval lute, Gothic harp, cornett and portatif organ. Led by Claudia Caffagni, they took part in an annual teaching residence project, carried out with the invaluable scientific cooperation of Fondazione Ugo e Olga Levi onlus, to delve into the chanson set to music by Du Fay at the court of the Savoy in the 15th century.
