The missa L’homme armé by Guillaume Du Fay

Since the 2015-2016 season, with the collaboration of non-profit organisation Fondazione Ugo e Olga Levi, a teaching residence is offered, aimed at producing a concert and record. After last year’s production of the missa Se la face ay pale by Guillaume Du Fay (1397-1474), it has been decided to continue working on the French-Flemish composer’s trilogy with a workshop on the missa L’homme armé, which, following the same view of continuity, involves the international group of young musicians who participated in last year’s experience. The project is once again headed by Claudia Caffagni, professor and coordinator of the Early music department at the Civic Music School “C. Abbado” of Milan.
